Foresters Financial appoints Tom Ross as chief distribution officer for U.S. annuity sales
TORONTO, Oct. 27, 2026 — Foresters Financial has appointed Tom Ross as chief distribution officer, U.S. annuity sales, effective Oct. 12, 2026.
Ross joins the organization as Foresters prepares to launch a multi-year guaranteed annuity (MYGA) in the U.S. market in 2027.
In the newly created role, Ross will lead Foresters' U.S. annuity sales strategy and help expand its distribution network. He will work with teams across sales, product, marketing, legal and compliance to support the planned launch and long-term growth of the company's annuity business.
"People don't only want to protect the ones they love. They want to know their savings will be there when they retire," said Andrea Frossard, chief commercial officer at Foresters Financial.
"A MYGA gives them that certainty. Tom is the right person to bring it to market. Distribution partners trust him because he shows up, listens and follows through. That's the kind of annuity business we want to build in the U.S."
Ross brings 16 years of financial services experience to Foresters. Most recently, he served as national distribution vice president at F&G, where he led agent-facing wholesaling and national account teams.
"I’m excited to join Foresters at such an important moment," Ross said. "What drew me here was the purpose behind the business. Foresters exists to look after its members and their communities. That matters to the partners I work with, and it matters to the clients they serve."
Ross lives in Hugo, Minnesota, with his family.
