Antidote Health Receives NCQA Health Plan Interim Accreditation for Arizona and Ohio

Business Wire

Innovative digital-first payvider achieves accreditation before the normal timeline, demonstrating its commitment to meeting consumer protection and quality improvement industry standards.

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Antidote Health, a leading digital-first Affordable Care Act (ACA) health plan payvider, is pleased to announce that it has received National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) Interim Health Plan Accreditation (HPA) for Antidote Health Plan of Arizona, Inc. and Antidote Health Plan of Ohio, Inc., impressively, well ahead of the regulatory requirement timelines. NCQA is an approved accrediting agency and its HPA program is considered the gold standard for health plan evaluation programs, ensuring the proper structure and processes are in place to meet consumer protection and quality improvement expectations.

As the most widely recognized accreditation program in the U.S., NCQA Interim HPA approval validates that Antidote Health has the proper structures and framework for implementing best practices, including quality improvement processes to improve key operational areas, such as care coordination, access to care, effective member communications, and preventive care.

“NCQA HPA standards align with Antidote Health’s belief that quality healthcare is a fundamental human right,” said Avihai Sodri, Co-founder and CEO of Antidote Health. “We set out to achieve this accreditation to proactively demonstrate that we have the programs, policies, and procedures to meet industry expectations for consumer protection and quality improvement.”

NCQA is a not-for-profit organization that uses transparency, accountability, and other measurements to highlight top performers and improve health care. NCQA requires health plans to undergo periodic surveys to maintain accreditation and measure and report annually on clinical performance outcomes and consumer experience (HEDIS® and CAHPS®). More than 192 million individuals are enrolled in NCQA-accredited health plans.

Antidote Health received its NCQA Interim HPA statutes for Arizona and Ohio on September 9, 2024. The NCQA report card has been updated to reflect these accreditation statuses in Arizona and Ohio.
