WASHINGTON, May 17 (TNStalk) -- The American Land Title Association issued the following statement on May 17, 2022:

The American Land Title Association (ALTA), the national trade association of the land title insurance industry, on released the following statement today regarding the Biden Administration's Housing Announcement.
"We commend the Biden Administration for its announcement today and overall efforts to ease the burden of housing costs for more Americans," said Diane Tomb, ALTA's chief executive officer. "As the President's Housing Supply Action Plan notes, the most important action that can be taken to reduce costs and improve affordability is to boost the supply of quality housing in communities nationwide.
"ALTA looks forward to working closely with the Administration as various initiatives within the plan develop, and are committed to assisting American families achieve and protect the dream of homeownership across the United States," Tomb continued.
