AM Best Revises Kemper’s Outlook to Positive; Affirms Key Financial Strength Ratings
AM Best also revised the outlooks to positive from stable and affirmed the FSR of A- (Excellent) and the Long-Term ICRs of “a-” of Kemper’s life and health subsidiaries. Additionally, AM Best revised the outlooks to positive from stable and affirmed the Long-Term ICR of “bbb-” and the Long-Term Issue Credit Ratings (Long-Term IR) of Kemper’s parent company.
The ratings agency cited Kemper’s balance sheet strength, which it categorized as very strong, adequate operating performance, a neutral business profile, and appropriate risk management.
