AM Best Briefing to Present Economic, Insurance Market Trends in Caribbean Region

OLDWICK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- AM Best will present an online briefing examining economic and industry trends in the Caribbean region’s insurance markets on Aug. 18, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. (EDT).

During the AM Best Briefing, titled, “Caribbean Market Perspectives from the C-Suite,” a panel of AM Best analysts and industry leaders will discuss the impact of COVID-19 and regional outlooks, along with challenges and opportunities in the year ahead. Portions of the discussion will be based on AM Best’s annual report on rated Caribbean insurers. According to AM Best, Caribbean insurers were spared significant hurricane-related losses; however, the 2021 hurricane season is off to a fast start.
