AM Best Associate Director to Discuss State of U.S. Health Insurance Industry at Annual Blue Cross Blue Shield Meeting

OLDWICK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- AM Best Associate Director Bridget Maehr will deliver a U.S. health insurance industry-focused presentation at the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association’s 2019 Statutory Accounting Advisory Group Annual Meeting, which will take place Sept. 25-26, in Chicago, IL.

Maehr’s session, titled, “Health Industry Outlook From a Ratings Perspective,” will address recent market trends in the health insurance industry and industry results. In addition, she will discuss AM Best’s rating process, with a focus on its building-block approach, as well as the rating agency’s draft criteria on innovation and how it fits into the overall process.
