Ageas Appoints New Chief Information Officer for UK Business

HAMPSHIRE, England, May 14 -- Ageas, an insurance group company, issued the following news release:
Mark Collins has today been announced as the new Chief Information Officer for Ageas UK.
In his role as CIO for Ageas, he will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of Ageas's IT strategy, ensuring that the company's approach to current and future technology evolves to meet the business challenges and customer preferences.
Mark has first-hand knowledge of the insurance industry having worked as Chief Information Officer at Vitality (previously known as PruHealth) since 2012. With a proven track record as a senior leader in technology, Mark also brings with him a wealth of experience of strategic Information Technology change programmes and Information Technology operations acquired during his time at Vodafone.
As a senior leader within Ageas, Mark will contribute to the management and decision making of the wider business as part of the UK Executive team.
