Adam Kerns Joins the RAA as Vice President, State Relations

WASHINGTON, May 3 -- The Reinsurance Association of America issued the following news release:
The Reinsurance Association of America announced today that Adam Kerns has joined the Association as Vice President, State Relations. In announcing the appointment, Frank Nutter, president of the RAA, commented, "It is a pleasure to welcome Adam to our staff. He is an experienced insurance lobbyist who can capitalize on his established relationships with the NAIC and other stakeholders to meaningfully influence the legal, regulatory and economic environment in which our members operate."
Prior to joining the RAA, Adam served as Assistant General Counsel at the American Insurance Association (AIA); Director of Finance, Farmers Insurance Group; and Attorney, Saul Ewing LLP.
Adam earned a Juris Doctorate from the Temple University Beasley School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Villanova University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
