ABA TECHSHOW2019 to Showcase Latest in Technology for the Legal Industry

CHICAGO, Illinois, Feb. 8 -- The American Bar Association issued the following news release:

Elizabeth "Betsy" Ziegler, the first female CEO of 1871, the No. 1 ranked tech incubator in the world, will be the keynote speaker at the American Bar Association ABA TECHSHOW2019 to be held Feb. 27-March 2 at the Hyatt Regency Chicago. Ziegler will speak from 1-2 p.m. on Friday, March 1.

ABA TECHSHOW is where lawyers, legal professionals and technology all come together. For three days, attendees learn about the most useful and practical technologies available in the legal industry.

ABA President Bob Carlson will give the welcome address on Thursday, Feb. 28, from 8-8:30 a.m.

Prior to joining 1871, Ziegler was the chief innovation officer at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, responsible for portfolio innovation as well as integrating technology into the Kellogg educational experience. From 2011-15, she served as associate dean of degree programs and dean of students. She previously served as a principal in McKinsey & Company's Chicago office, where she led the firm's Life Insurance Operations and Technology practice and co-led its Financial Institutions Operations and Technology practice.
