Nov. 20--Z Fun Factory (formerly known as the Yuma Fun Factory) will reopen for business on Thanksgiving Day, featuring bumper cars, go carts, miniature golf and arcade. In addition, adults can watch football games in the sports bar and grill while little ones enjoy the free huge jungle attraction.

For opening day, a full-course Thanksgiving dinner of turkey and ham will be served from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. The regular restaurant menu will start Friday.

The family fun center, recently purchased by Brice and Becky Zeller, is located at 4446 E. County 10th St. (access off Avenue 3E). It will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. For more information, call 726-6000.

Tuesday Morning is all closed up, with the inventory removed. The phone has been disconnected and the sign is gone. The Yuma store had opened in the spring of 2008 in the Big Curve Shopping Center next to Michael's.

Tuesday Morning is a national chain that provides closeout sales of a wide range of name-brand products. The store in Yuma closed due to lease expiration, Laurey Peat spokesperson for the company, responded by email.

Irene Crites, Big Curve property manager, said all she knows is that Tuesday Morning declined to renew its lease. "That really saddens me. I thought it was doing well."

As for the Ark, the bookstore recently moved out of its longtime location at Southgate Mall because of failed lease negotiations. While looking for a new location, owner Madelyn Williams had been operating the business out of her home for the last six weeks.

The bookstore will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and can be reached at 726-0088.
