R. Berkley Corporation member company, and Specialty Insurance Managers Inc., both of which have begun reaping the benefits of improved business processes. Web-based and built to ACORD XML standards, PolicyIssuance provides an efficient process for general agents (GA) to issue policies on behalf of their Excess and Surplus (E&S) carriers.

Vertafore PolicyIssuance provides an efficient process for General Agents to issue policies, virtually eliminating keystrokes. With PolicyIssuance, data is extracted from the agency management system, and the software analyzes the data based on an underwriting rules engine. Once all the mandatory data is complete, the software automatically selects the required policy forms and merges the data into form sets, totally eliminating the re-keying of data The automated solution has streamlined Nautilus’ processes enabling its agents to efficiently issue policies for general liability and commercial property.

Nautilus works with insurance agency Specialty Insurance Managers who also just went live with PolicyIssuance and is a user of Vertafore’s AIM management system. PolicyIssuance integrates with AIM and other management systems to help agents eliminate keystrokes and the manual selection of policy forms during the policy issuance process.
