Travelers Unveils Click Portal [Professional Services Close – Up]

Travelers unveiled the Travelers Click portal, an expansion of the Bond & Financial Products technology platform, dedicated to streamlining and simplifying the online process of purchasing and issuing commercial surety bonds for agents and brokers.

"We focused on building an friendly platform with input from our agencies across the country," said George Thompson, Senior Vice President, Commercial Surety, Travelers Bond & Financial Products. "Travelers Click introduces easy navigation, smart technology and resources necessary for issuing a surety bond quickly and efficiently."

According to a release, Travelers Click highlights include:

-Simplified Navigation: The platform was created to be friendly, allowing agency customer service and surety professionals to easily navigate the platform without the need for additional training (though it is readily available and accessible).

-Smarter Technology: Information added to Travelers Click is automatically saved so users do not need to re-enter information, saving time and improving efficiency.

-Faster Execution: Travelers Click users can access a variety of resources like an extensive bond forms library, agency underwriting authority by bond type, and rate calculators, in an instant which, when paired with simple navigation and smart technology, can reduce the time needed to issue bonds by more than half.

-Evolving Platform: Travelers Click is a flexible e-commerce platform that will stay ahead of the curve to meet the evolving needs of users.

In developing Travelers Click, Travelers said it worked with select independent insurance agencies nationwide to determine how online surety bond technologies could be improved to provide a superior solution.

"The feedback from our agencies was very clear: make this process easier and faster," continued Thompson. "Most of the users we've worked with are issuing bonds through this platform in about four minutes, which they tell us is approximately 5 to 10 minutes faster than current systems they use."
