Top Life Insurance Direct Marketing Companies Commit To LIDMA’s Annual Fall Meeting
- LIDMA expects record attendance at 2nd Annual LIDMA Fall Meeting in Atlanta on September 14th and 15th -
ATLANTA, GA - September 6, 2006 - ReliaQuote, IntelliQuote, InsWeb, AccuQuote, InsuranceOnly, Insurance Central and Insure.com are among the list of direct life insurance marketers that will participate in the Annual Fall Meeting of the Life Insurance Direct Marketing Association (LIDMA) being held at the downtown Ritz Carlton in Atlanta on September 14th and 15th.
LIDMA has announced these and other top direct marketing companies in the life insurance industry are participating the in the event as panel members, speakers and attendees.
Keynote speakers for the event include Donald W. (Butch) Britton, president of ING’s U.S. Life Business Group; John Oxendine, Commissioner of Insurance for the state of Georgia; and Brian T. Casey of Lord, Bissell & Brook LLP, a top legal authority on electronic and voice signatures within the life insurance industry.
"Our high level of attendance and participation by top companies at this year’s event shows the increased impact direct marketing sales are having on the life insurance industry," said Pat Wedeking, president of LIDMA. "In a short period of time our Fall Meeting has grown into the ‘must attend’ event regarding effective and profitable direct marketing in the life insurance industry."
LIDMA is the primary association dedicated to supporting businesses and professionals active in direct sales of life insurance products to consumers - the fastest growing sales segment in the life insurance industry. The not-for-profit organization is committed to helping members boost their revenues derived through direct response sales as well as assisting new entrants adapt and succeed in their direct response efforts.
LIDMA’s annual Fall Meeting is its primary event each year and draws top life insurance professionals from all over the country. This year’s event features presentations on such topics as new technologies, direct response industry research and carrier updates.
In addition to top direct marketing companies in the industry, carriers such as Prudential, ING, Transamerica and Genworth are also participating in the event.
"Our Fall meeting provides the latest information for companies currently involved in direct selling as well as those just initiating their direct marketing efforts," said Gary Lardy, a founding officer of LIDMA. In addition to speakers, LIDMA’s fall meeting will feature a variety of communication sessions, committee discussions, a vendor exposition and social functions.
Registration for the event is $1,200 for non-member producers and $595 for members. Carriers, Exam Companies and Business Partners must be current members of LIDMA to participate in the Business Showcase and attend the conference being held at the downtown Ritz Carlton in Atlanta.
