Tim Leeper Roofing Expands Commercial Roofing Services in Middle Tennessee
| PR Web |
Tim Leeper Roofing has expanded their team and services in the commercial roofing division due to an increase in service requests for Middle Tennessee.
The locally owned and operated roofing company has added two new service technicians, as well as a commercial consultant with many years of experience. They have expanded to help small to mid-sized businesses with repairs, retrofit roofs and replacement.
“The market is changing, as it always does, and we are just answering,” Leeper says.
Tim Leeper Roofing is urging business and property owners to include routine maintenance into their annual budget, with the exceptions of newer and very old roofs. It is much more cost effective to be proactive than reactive, saving considerable money over the long term. The upsides to routine maintenance include keeping mold away, possible insurance cancellations, keeping happy tenants, lower repair costs and minimized damage on the roof itself.
“Most of what we see in commercial roofing, is neglect,” Leeper says in regards to commercial roofing damage. “No one maintains the roof at all and, in return, we see loose materials subject to wind driven rain penetration, punctures, deteriorated material and more.”
Some roofs are more susceptible to damage, requiring frequent inspections, especially commercial roofs that tend to be larger. A few of these factors include environment, such as high wind zone or chemical plants, high traffic on the roof, weather varying with extreme temperatures, internal gutters or drain systems and food-related businesses that receive expensive fines and experience loss production for water leaks. Thus, it is vital to keep commercial roofs in good shape.
“There isn't necessarily a one size fits all, each building has its own needs,” says
