The Geneia Institute And Villanova Partner To Meet ACO Staffing Needs

HARRISBURG, Pa., June 24, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The Geneia Institute and Villanova University College of Nursing today jointly announced a strategic educational partnership to help meet the staffing needs of accountable care organizations (ACOs), patient-centered medical homes (PCMHs), and other risk-based health care models.  The first course created as a result of this unique collaboration – Coordinating Care in a Fragmented System– gives frontline nurses and social workers the hands-on, skills-based training they need to become effective ACO and PCMH care coordinators, and begins September 13^th.
