Sword AgencyPort Releases New Version of AgencyConnect™
New Feature Enables Carriers to Measure Real-Time Success of System Interfaces
BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Sword AgencyPort (a Sword Group company), the leading provider of web-based, product distribution solutions to the property and casualty insurance industry, today announces the latest release of the industry’s leading interface solution AgencyConnect™.
AgencyConnect™ is an award-winning interface solution that processes inbound quote requests from multiple systems used by independent agencies including agency management systems (e.g. products from Vertafore or Applied Systems), and comparative rating systems (e.g. SilverPlume’s PL Rater, or Boston Software’s WinRater/SinglePoint). AgencyConnect™ not only transforms complex agency data formats into one stream of normalized ACORD XML but also provides single sign-on capability and integrates with rating and other systems to enable a true real-time, round trip experience for the agent.
AgencyConnect™ v4.1 is ready for shipment immediately and includes numerous enhancements requested from our client base of 25 carriers and an innovative new product feature called Control Tower. AgencyConnect™ already features support for the largest breadth of product lines of business, states, agency systems and features Interview, an easy to use web application which allows agents to correct any missing or invalid fields. The new Control Tower feature provides real-time analytics for agency interface giving carriers visibility into metrics that allow them to be immediately responsive to agent needs and proactively enhance the agent experience for new business rate, quote and bind.
“The vendor landscape for independent agents changes all the time and our carrier clients must be sure that they optimize the agent experience for bridging and real-time rating,” states Michael Albert, VP of Product Development. “Control Tower provides carriers with insight into key performance indicators like activity by transaction type, source system, success ratios, data validation errors, and even system activity by time of day so that they can proactively ensure ongoing agent satisfaction.”
“We continue to invest heavily in agency connectivity solutions for P&C carriers and our product roadmap reflects our ongoing commitment to the US personal and commercial lines market,” states Mason Power, VP of Product and Market Strategy. “Upcoming AgencyConnect™ releases will add support for even more agency systems and enable interface with international data standards.”
