SmartDraw Software Adds New Enterprise Productivity Solutions to Visual Processor

San Diego, CA (PRWEB) February 8, 2011

Today, SmartDraw Software announced new company-wide solutions that provide substantial, measurable and immediate return on investment using SmartDraw VP, the world's first visual processorTM. SmartDraw VP empowers the 95% of PC users who create only written documents to reap the benefits of communicating visually.

Since its debut last year, SmartDraw VP has seen dramatic growth in multi-seat installations in organizations around the world and dramatic increases in average order size overall. The new solutions announced today provide further enterprise-level improvements in productivity in a wide range of common business activities.

The new enterprise-focused solutions include:

   •      Visual Process Management, a revolutionary new way to document, improve and manage processes throughout the enterprise;
   •     Visual Meetings which reduces both the frequency and duration of business meetings by more than 26% by making them more efficient;
   •     And Visual Presentations, which improve the effectiveness of presentations by up to six times. In addition, SmartDraw announced the introduction of Visual Grammar—a simple set of rules for standardizing the creation of business visuals, which make them easier to comprehend and support their widespread adoption. SmartDraw VP applies Visual Grammar rules to every visual automatically.

"The introduction of company-wide solutions built with SmartDraw VP further extend the benefits of visual communication to the entire organization. Having a visual processor on every desktop makes this possible," said Paul Stannard, CEO of SmartDraw. "These organizations are experiencing real return on investment on a daily basis—increased efficiency, more effective presentations and proposals, and less frequent yet more effective meetings—all thanks to the power of visual communication."

Two recent examples are insurance wholesaler Reliant General and L+L Printers, one of Southern California’s largest printing companies. Both organizations have deployed SmartDraw to every desktop and have used it to improve communication and efficiency.

“With the help of SmartDraw, we improved our processes and reduced our workload by 25%,” said Carl Davenport, Vice President of Manufacturing at L+L Printers.

“With a proactive tool like SmartDraw, people are much more aggressive in pursuing process improvement,” said Dana Dodds, Reliant’s CEO.

SmartDraw VP automates the creation of 70 different types of business visuals including flowcharts, mind maps, Gantt charts, timelines, floor plans, data charts and more. Built-in integration with Microsoft Office® and Adobe PDF allows users to create and then share SmartDraw visuals with a single click.
