Shubroto Chattopadhyay Joins Xeridiem® as Senior Business Development and Marketing Director

Xeridiem has expanded the leadership team with the appointment of Shubroto Chattopadhyay as Senior Business Development and Marketing Director, reporting to Xeridiem President, Joseph Lee. Mr. Chattopadhyay comes to Xeridiem from Parker Hannifin Corporation, Medical Systems Division, where he served as Market Manager and Marketing Communications Manager since 2001.

"Shubroto brings over 30 years of healthcare-industry experience and an in-depth understanding of new product innovation," stated Joseph Lee. "He adds to our core strength in the design and delivery of highly competitive and robust medical devices."

Having worked in the past with Vesta, Inc. and Parker Hannifin Corporation, Medical Systems Division, for a combined total of 25 years, Mr. Chattopadhyay brings to Xeridiem extensive hands-on business development experience in clean-room contract manufacturing of value added liquid injection molded (LIM) medical silicone components, medical grade extrusion, medical device assemblies and fully fabricated silicone medical catheters. In addition, he brings wide-ranging experiences with related medical devices used in the bariatric, cardiovascular, diabetes care, dialysis, drug infusion, enteral feeding, nephrology, respiratory, urology, wound management and related market segments. Mr. Chattobadhyay, who has been a LIM Market Development Specialist for GE Silicone Products Division, Healthcare Market Manager and thereafter Regional Sales Manager for Wacker Silicones, also has a strong background in medical grade silicone materials.

Mr. Chattobadhyay received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of South Carolina and a Master of Science in Organic Chemistry from Old Dominion University. Additionally, he pursued graduate level studies and research in chemistry at VPI and SU in Blacksburg, VA.

Mr. Chattobadhyay is a native of Calcutta, India where his parents and he departed and came to the United States in 1961. He has been married to his lovely wife; Collette, since 1980 and they have a grown daughter, Jackie. Shubroto and Collette are currently in the process of relocating from Southern California, where they have lived since 1988, to Tucson, AZ.
