SSQ General Insurance, a subsidiary of SSQ Financial Group, sets up business in Greater Montreal area
QUEBEC CITY, Sept. 22 /CNW Telbec/ - SSQ General Insurance, a significant player in Quebec's general insurance industry, is set to open its doors for business in Longueuil next January. In a move designed to support its current growth in business, the company this fall will be creating several dozen new jobs with the opening of its new Customer Relations Centre to be located within walking distance of the Longueuil Metro Station.
Chief Executive Officer, Gilles Mourette, explains, "We are very proud to be announcing our arrival in the Greater Montreal area. The opening of our new offices is a natural continuation of our strategic development plan and I expect to see sustained growth in the coming years."
The company's head office and central call centre will remain in Quebec City. SSQ General Insurance currently employs 475 employees and its rate of growth in terms of annualized written premiums is among the strongest in the industry.
