Jun 16, 2010 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- Royal London 360, the international division of the Royal London Group, has appointed James Parsons as its new regional sales consultant covering the Middle East.
In his new role, Mr Parsons will be responsible for developing relationships with new and existing brokers in the Middle East region, and driving new business and sales.
Mr Parsons joins the life assurance company from a similar role at Friends Provident International (FPI), where he was also based in Dubai. He started his career working in asset management, investment management and stock broking within a number of independent financial advisor firms in the London area. He joined FPI in 2006, moving into a sales support role, before moving to the Dubai office in 2008, and being promoted to regional sales consultant at the start of 2010.
Stuart Shilcock, head of sales for Royal London 360 in the Middle East, said: "James Parsons is an experienced and respected sales professional with a good network of contacts in the region, and he will be an asset to Royal London 360. His enthusiasm for the job and interpersonal skills will ensure he continues to build and maintain relationships, which in turn will help us to grow our market share in the Middle East."
