A downtown area collision on Sunday, April 6 has left a pedestrian fighting for her life. Police say a BMW SUV allegedly making a left-hand turn collided with a 2006 Yamaha motorcycle that was heading north on Yonge Street. The motorcycle allegedly struck a 67-year-old woman on the sidewalk. The woman was sent to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, while the 29-year-old motorcyclist was also treated at a hospital.
