(Rising), a leading medical-financial organization, announces the release of Rising VISION(TM) 2.0 today - the Company's proprietary, web-based portal for the management of healthcare claims. In the initial application launch, Rising is releasing its feature functionality designated for payers. After performing extensive interviews with claims professionals and current clients, VISION 2.0 addresses their need to simplify and expedite claims management processes in entirely unique ways.
Says Claims Manager Steve Wood, an industry veteran who is now with third party administrator ClaimsOne, "We were fortunate to be an early adopter of VISION 2.0 and I can confirm that its payer functionality is unlike anything I've experienced in the industry. We've only been using the application for four weeks now and already we see the major impact it is having on our claims operations in terms of better, faster, and easier decision making."
Using aggressive industry performance standards as a baseline, VISION's payer portal was developed to drastically reduce the review and approval cycle for medical transactions, including bill level and line level functionality, while also providing adjusters with a comprehensive view of an entire medical claim.
"With this release, Rising is only scratching the surface of our revolutionary plans for this solution," says Rising CEO, Jason Beans. "Not only do we have new technologies in our development cycle for payers, but we also will be rolling out comprehensive tool sets for Rising's provider and patient constituents in 2009. Our ultimate goal with Rising VISION(TM) is to radically simplify traditional medical transaction methodologies and therefore take the pain out of the healthcare process for all parties involved in the system."
Rising anticipates releasing its online patient and provider functionality prior to the end of this year. Included features for the patient portal are the ability for Medicare Set Aside (MSA) self-administration parties to access regulatory requirement guidelines, annual filing tools, and medical bill repricing resources. Provider portal features include access to electronic remittance advice and electronic payment records, enrollment and W-9 submission tools, and e-signature capabilities.
