Both Wohlfield and Davies agree that everyone learns from the classroom experience. "Along with the books and online tests and tools," says Wohlfield, "we learn from each other in our class discussions. Having spent much of her career in a senior HR generalist/management role, Wohlfield's background gives her special kinship with Walsh PHR/SPHR students who typically work small to mid-size firms. "My prior career experiences exposed me to just about every possible HR responsibility and issue; everything from recruiting to onboarding to performance reviews to problem employees and termination. I can relate to the students in just about every HR situation."
