Prudential Mutual Fund Family Renaming Finalized
Prudential Financial Inc. (NYSE: PRU) announced that the renaming of its mutual fund family to Prudential Investments is effective today. The mutual fund family, previously called JennisonDryden, offers funds across a range of asset classes and sectors, including equity, fixed income, real estate and specialty securities.
While the fund names have changed to feature Prudential's name-linking the fund family to the company's 135-year heritage-the funds' ticker symbols, investment objectives and portfolio management teams remain the same. Prudential has offered mutual funds to investors for more than 20 years.
Experienced asset managers, including Jennison Associates, Prudential Fixed Income, Prudential Real Estate Investors, and Quantitative Management Associates, continue to manage the funds. Jennison-managed funds continue to carry the Jennison name as "Prudential Jennison." Dryden and JennisonDryden-named funds have been renamed "Prudential."
Financial professionals, shareholders and other interested stakeholders may continue to search databases by fund name, but can now search under "Prudential" to bring up a complete list of funds. Please visit http://www.prudentialfunds.com for more information.
