Professional Healthcare Helps Families in Need

BALTIMORE--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- As the holiday season fast approaches Professional Healthcare Resources has been looking at ways of assisting families struck by illness and whose financial situation has been adversely affected by the illness of one or more family members.

Casey Young, Director of Business Development in Professional Healthcare’s Baltimore service area, has initiated a partnership with Allstate Insurance, Sterling Auto Body and Marathon of Miracles Network to help a family in need by donating a vehicle to the family. The nominated family has a history of helping others through similar donations until the mother was diagnosed with cancer six years ago. The father is out of work and picks up work when he is able to, and still take care of his wife during treatment, they have four children, three of which have special needs. They have almost been foreclosed on three times.

As such, All State will be donating a Ford Explorer that is a theft recovery. After being put through state safety inspections the vehicle will be donated. Professional Healthcare is also going to get wish lists from the children and seek local sponsors to fulfill those wishes.
