ProSight Specialty Insurance and CMAA Debut New Construction Managers Insurance Program [Manufacturing Close – Up]

Proquest LLC

ProSight Specialty Insurance, a global insurance carrier focusing on the construction industry, unveiled a new Construction Managers insurance program to attendees of the CMAA Leadership Forum in New Orleans, Louisiana.

According to a release, designed with CMAA members in mind, the integrated general liability and professional liability package for construction managers provides continuity of claims management and enhanced coverage backed by distributor Quaker Special Risk's (QSR) more than 50 years of experience in the construction industry. The program will be offered nationally and includes program enhancements, such as subpoena and disciplinary proceedings expense coverage. Recognizing the skill and professionalism associated with qualified construction managers in CMAA's membership base, ProSight will offer Certified Construction Managers (CCM) special credit on their quote from ProSight Specialty Insurance.

"CMAA is underscoring its commitment to the enhancement of construction management as a professional discipline by partnering with ProSight to provide members with industry-leading risk management and insurance solutions," said CMAA President and CEO Bruce D'Agostino, CAE, FCMAA. "This innovative, specialist insurance offering from ProSight aligns with our commitment to enhance the benefits of CMAA membership to more companies and individuals who are committed to excellence in professional Construction and Program Management."

CMAA and ProSight will utilize print and digital advertising campaigns, social media channels and a dedicated co-branded website cmaa.prosightspecialty.com to advance the alliance. The co-branded website is a resource for construction management professionals interested in industry insights and risk management. It features fresh content from ProSight, QSR and CMAA, as well as additional information about ProSight's insurance solutions for the construction industry.

ProSight's insurance offering is centered on delivering specialized expertise, paired with an array of responsive insurance and risk management products designed to meet the needs of construction managers. ProSight teamed up with QSR on the Construction Managers program because it aligns with ProSight's philosophy that building exclusive partnerships with quality industry experts equates to success for its customers. In addition, QSR will work closely with CMAA member's agents on placing insurance policies.

"Using our excellent claims experience and strong underwriting, we're able to bring together forms and products that pay special attention to the unique nature of the coverages needed to serve this industry," said Jake Morin, Program Manager, ProSight Specialty Insurance. "We are excited about our new policy that packages PL and GL lines and being able to offer it to CMAA members first. This combined policy allows a single point in time each year to make insurance purchase decisions."

ProSight Specialty Insurance Group, Inc., and its member insurers, were founded by CEO Joseph Beneducci and are backed by affiliates of TPG Capital and GS Capital Partners.
