Nov. 29--LEGAL

-- Leech Tishman welcomed David E. Renner to its Pittsburgh office as an associate in the firm's employment and litigation practice groups.

-- Brittany Marie Bloam joined Friday & Cox LLC. Bloam's practice focuses on civil litigation, plaintiff personal injury, medical malpractice, appeals and workers' compensation.

-- Eric D. Kline joined Pepper Hamilton'sPittsburgh office as a partner in the corporate and securities practice group. Kline advises Fortune 500 companies in their strategic partnering and joint venture transactions and has represented economic development, private equity and venture capital agencies in their investments.

EDUCATION

-- Nancilee Burzachechi, vice president for institutional advancement and external relations at Community College of Allegheny County, was named to the board of directors of the Council for Resource Development.

-- Sheri W. Manning is now vice president of marketing and communications for UPMC Health Plan and the UPMC Insurance Services Division.
