"I am delighted to join Huntington, which shares my values for customer service and community investment," said Paterno. "We also share a long-standing commitment to helping West Virginia to grow."

Paterno replaces Clayton Rice, who left the bank May 22 after being president of the West Virginia region for more than four years.
