April 17--With Neshaminy facing a seven-run deficit after one inning, Sam Offenback helped power the Redskins into the lead with two ferocious swings.

Offenback hammered a grand slam and a solo home run, enabling Neshaminy to outlast Council Rock North, 10-9, Wednesday in a Suburban One League National Conference softball game.

Jen Walker added a triple in a 2-for-3 game and knocked in three runs.

Pioneer. Haley Streeper went 2 for 2 with a double and four RBIs in Perkiomen Valley's 8-3 victory over host Boyertown. Kelsey Impink added a double in a game in which Perkiomen Valley knocked 12 hits.

Tiler Rennard, Marissa Defelice, and Jess Eldrige each had two RBIs as Phoenixville dispatched Pottstown, 9-1. Julia Tucker added a double for the Phantoms.

Winning pitcher Gabi Ermish went 1 for 3 from the plate with an RBI, and host Pottsgrove survived a two-run rally from Methacton in the seventh to pull out a 4-3 win. Casey Carroll knocked in two runs in the win.

Suburban One American. Dez Kandy drove in both of Upper Merion's runs in a 2-0 defeat of host Cheltenham.

Kandy made good use of small ball in the fourth inning, reaching base on a bunt hit before swiping two bases and scoring on a sacrifice fly.

Winning pitcher Olivia Sborlini fanned four and gave up four hits in the shutout.

In another Suburban One American matchup, Susan JanFrancisco hit a two-run insurance homer in the seventh inning and had three RBIs as Plymouth Whitemarsh topped host Upper Dublin, 8-5.

Nonleague. Brandi James handled the slugging duties for Interboro, smacking a three-run homer in the first inning and adding a triple in Interboro's 10-0 win against visiting Penncrest. Winning pitcher Rachel Reifer struck out six in six shutout innings.

Anna Steinmetz led West Chester Rustin with a 3-for-4 game at the plate and a pair of RBIs in a 4-2 triumph over visiting West Chester East.</p>

Lacrosse

Agnes Irwin freshman Daniella Wright played the overtime hero when she stepped up to take a free position shot with 27 seconds left in overtime and promptly hit twine.

Wright's goal in the extra period sealed a wild, 16-15 nonleague win against visiting Manheim Township. Hannah Keating scored nine goals for the Owls, and Hailey Andress stopped 11 shots in net.

Pioneer. Katie Garvey's hat trick led Unionville's potent attack, and the Indians broke out to score 11 goals in the second half to top Methacton, 13-5.

Haley Wentzel paced Boyertown with six goals and a pair of assists as the Bears downed host Phoenixville, 18-3.

Suburban One American. Zoe Gomez's seven goals helped lead Springfield (Montco) past visiting Wissahickon, 13-8. Lauren Irvine chipped in a hat trick for Springfield.
