PMSI-Tmesys Promotes Mark Hollifield to Senior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer

TAMPA, FL - March 30, 2006
PMSI-Tmesys has promoted Mark Hollifield to senior vice president and chief operating officer. Tampa-based PMSI-Tmesys is one of the nation's leading providers of pharmacy, medical services and supplies to the workers' compensation and catastrophic care industries.
In his new role, Hollifield leads all of the company's divisions, including retail and mail service pharmacy, Professional Clinical Services, bill review, and durable medical equipment/specialty services. Additionally, he oversees corporate operations.
"Mark's contributions in business administration and pharmacy operations have accelerated the success of PMSI-Tmesys over the last four years," said President and CEO Dave Weidner. "His disciplined approach to product development, customer service and program results enable us to stay ahead of the complex issues facing the workers' compensation industry."
Hollifield joined PMSI-Tmesys in 2002 as vice president of the company's Tmesys retail pharmacy division, directing the activities of over 300 associates and developing the PBM operating platform. Since 2004, he has served as vice president of pharmacy operations, responsible for the retail pharmacy program as well as the PMSI Home Delivery Pharmacy, which together fulfill over 4 million workers' compensation pharmacy transactions annually.
"After working in so many sectors of the company, I am looking forward to maximizing our various divisions to produce greater levels of customer service and patient care while containing costs to payors," Hollifield said.
Prior to joining PMSI-Tmesys, Hollifield was vice president-general manager for the GTE Wireless overlap properties of Verizon Communications. He has also previously served as senior auditor with the public accounting firm of Ernst & Young.
Hollifield is a Certified Public Accountant and holds Bachelor of Science Degrees in finance and accounting with a minor in computer science from Florida State University.
Formed in 1976 and based in Tampa, Fla., PMSI-Tmesys is one of the nation's leading providers of cost-containment solutions for pharmacy and specialty services in the workers' compensation and catastrophic injury markets. Both PMSI and Tmesys revolutionized the workers' compensation industry from their inception, introducing the first programs of their kind. PMSI was the first workers' compensation provider to offer a single-source concept for pharmacy, medical equipment and specialty services. Tmesys, the company's retail PBM, pioneered the first cardless, online PPO built specifically for workers' compensation and its complexities. Today, PMSI-Tmesys processes over 4 million pharmacy and specialty services transactions annually for injured workers. For more information, visit http://www.pmsionline.com or call 877-275-7674.
