ARCHITECTURE/ ENGINEERING

Rochester, N.Y.-based Erdman Anthony named Joseph Snyder and Tyler Bennett survey technologists with the geospatial group in the Harrisburgarea office. Snyder has more than 10 years of experience in land surveying and will help lead field operations on transportation and gas projects. He is a member of the West Hanover Township Planning Commission and has a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Penn State. Bennett has a bachelor's degree in geo-environmental studies from Shippensburg University.

East Pennsboro Township-based Gannett Fleming named James Crandall a vice president and senior manager based in the Woodbury, N.Y., office. He will lead the Northeast water and natural resources practices, as well as local and regional operations and business development. He is a professional engineer with more than 26 years of experience and a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of South Florida.

Hampden Township-based Dawood Engineering Inc. named Brian L. Fischbach director of civil engineering with the Pittsburgh regional office in Washington County. He will oversee land and site-development projects across all offices. He is a professional engineer with more than 24 years of experience.

Philadelphia-based Pennoni Associates named Todd Stager an associate vice president. He is office director of the Mechanicsburg-and State College-area offices. He is a professional engineer with more than 20 years of experience and a degree from Penn State.

BANKING/FINANCE

Ephrata National Bank named Barry E. Miller a senior vice president and chief operating officer. He has more than 40 years of experience and will oversee the retail division, mortgage and commercial lending, money management and marketing. He was vice president of sales and development. Previously, he was a Lancaster regional president with Susquehanna Bank. He has a bachelor's degree in economics from Millersville University.

Swatara TownshipMetro Bancorp Inc. named Jessica E. Meyers and Thomas F. Smida board members. Meyers is owner and president of Harrisburg-based JEM Group. She has a bachelor's degree from Penn State. Smida is an attorney with Harrisburgbased Mette, Evans & Woodside. He practices with the municipal finance practice group and has more than 18 years of experience. He has a bachelor's degree from the University of Pittsburgh, a law degree from Duquesne University and a master of laws degree from Temple University.

South Middleton Township-based Jacqueline L. Powell & Associates Inc. named Dan Fahringer an Invest Financial Corp. registered representative and investment adviser representative. He was a financial adviser and manager.

York Township-based PeoplesBank named Paul R. Remy a mortgage loan originator. He has more than 20 years of mortgage experience with Wells Fargo, Susquehanna Mortgage and Meridian Bank.

York College named Janine Becker dean of enrollment management. She was director of enrollment services with Wilkes University. She also is an adjunct faculty member with Wilkes and Penn State Wilkes-Barre. She has a bachelor's degree from the University of Toledo, an MBA from Wilkes and a doctorate from Marywood University.

HEALTH CARE

Hanover Hospital named Dr. Sara E. Clymer an obstetrician and gynecologist with its hospital staff and affiliate Mountain View OB/GYN. She will provide a range of gynecological and obstetrical care, including gynecologic surgery. She has special interest in laparoscopy/minimally invasive surgery, urogynecology and reproductive endocrinology.

LAW

Harrisburg-based McNees Wallace and Nurick named Sarah Ivy an attorney with the employee benefits group within the labor and employment practice group in the Lancaster office. She will focus on employee benefits law, taxation, and executive compensation. She has 15 years of experience, a bachelor's degree from Frostburg State University and a law degree from Penn State Dickinson. Benjamin A. Haverstick was named an attorney with the business group. He will advise companies and business owners on corporate and business goals. He was in practice in New York. He has a bachelor's degree from Wesleyan University and a law degree from New York University.

Lemoyne-based Bybel Rutledge LLP named Lauren E. Hokamp an associate with the corporate and commercial litigation departments. She has a bachelor's degree in finance and a law degree from Penn State.

MARKETING

Lancaster-based Godfrey named Sheryl Zapcic a senior public relations account manager and director of communication training. She will oversee communication training programs, including media and presentation training and executive coaching. She has a bachelor's degree in marketing from Penn State. Donna Lindsey was named a senior art director. She will supervise associate art directors and designers, as well as handle art direction for the commercial building and manufacturing industries. She has a bachelor of fine arts degree in graphic design from Savannah College of Art and Design.

MEDIA

Swatara Township-based WITF Public Media appointed Sharon Greelish Cody a senior major gifts officer. She will coordinate capital campaigns, major gifts and planned giving programs. She was executive director of the Lancaster Osteopathic Health Foundation. She also is an attorney with more than 10 years of experience in private practice.

NONPROFITS

United Way of Lancaster County named Diana G. Williams marketing and communications director. She was a marketing and communications associate. Previously, she was a graphic designer and traffic/production manager with Howard Miller Associates and a freelance graphic designer. She also was an AmeriCorps volunteer and a Peace Corps volunteer. She has a bachelor's degree in digital media from Waynesburg University.

Wormleysburg-based American Heart Association named Tim Ritchie chairman of its 2014 Lebanon Heart Walk. He is a sales manager with Lebanon Broadcasting's WLBR/ WQIC radio.

REAL ESTATE

Manheim Township-based Coldwell Banker Select Professionals named Steve Cassidy a real estate agent. He has more than 10 years of experience in sales and customer service and a degree in business administration and finance from Shippensburg University. Thomas Miller was named an agent with the York office. He has 20 years of experience in residential and exterior remodeling and eight years of experience in real estate investing. Kate Acie and Wesley Ash were named agents with the Camp Hill office of Coldwell Banker Homestead Group Select Professionals. Acie has an associate degree in marketing and a bachelor's degree in legal studies from Central Penn College. Ash is a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard, was a business analyst with IBM, and has owned several businesses, including a diner in New Cumberland. Affiliate Guardian Transfer named Dawn C. Nylander a business development officer for the five-county Delaware Valley region. She has more than 16 years of mortgage and title experience, most recently as co-manager of County Line Abstract Inc. She also is a notary public. Eileen Marks was named a title processor with Guardian's Camp Hill office. She has been in the title services industry since 1980 and also is a notary. Jason Stacknick was named a settlement officer with the office. He has been in the industry since 2000 and also owns a title search company.

RETAIL

East Lampeter Township-based Hair Direct Inc. named Leona Griffin a digital marketing manager. She will oversee overall marketing strategy and development of digital marketing strategies. She has 16 years of experience and was a senior search strategist. Toneya Humes was named a finishing-center team leader. She will oversee customer satisfaction and assist team members. She was a finishing-center technician. She is a graduate of Empire Beauty School. Sean Deeghan was named a systems administrator. He will install, maintain and upgrade the company's network, server, computer and phone equipment and provide technical support. He has 14 years of experience, most recently as a consultant, and an associate degree from York Technical Institute. Jeremy Shipley was named a software administrator and back-office software engineer. He will develop Salesforce applications, Dynamics GP modifications and integrations between front- and back-office systems. He was a software engineer.

UTILITIES

Voorhees, N.J.-based American Water named James Merante director of financial analysis and decision support for its Mid-Atlantic division. He will be based in Derry Township and will oversee all financial planning, accounting and rates design and support for Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia operations. He was vice president of operations at FSM Inc. in Harrisburg and vice president of operations with ValueClick. He is a certified public accountant and has a bachelor's degree from Susquehanna University.
