New Tools and Incentives Available for Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey Members to Stay Healthy

A new interactive health and wellness website – horizon.cafewell.com – is now live for most Horizon BCBSNJ members, at least 18 years of age, and their families. The new interactive resource allows members to privately and securely develop their own health program and get rewarded for doing so. Registering on the site and getting started is quick and easy and members can immediately begin to:
• Set personal health goals;
• Invite friends and family to join;
• Read helpful tips and articles on health and wellness;
• Get recommendations on how to best achieve personal health goals; and
• Connect with health experts and others working toward the same goals.
Whether Horizon BCBSNJ members want to increase physical activity, lose weight, or manage a health condition, on CaféWell (horizon.cafewell.com) they can easily start a program and collect Horizon Life Points for documenting their progress toward their health goals to earn rewards, including

New Jersey State Health Benefits Program (SHBP) and School Employees’ Health Benefits Program (SEHBP) active members have access to NJWELL, which is a similar incentive-based wellness program. The new site is not available to Horizon NJ Health members or members who have coverage through the Federal Employee Program.
