French financial portal Wansquare reported over the weekend that Natixis intended to sell Coface and that home reinsurer Scor (EPA:SCR) was interested in a deal.
A Natixis spokesman said late on Sunday that the bank was focused on restructuring and will not put Coface up for sale, Reuters reported.
Coface offers credit insurance and credit management services to more than 100,000 customers in almost 70 countries. It also provides credit information and manages export guarantees for the French government.
