Accounting

Manheim Township-based Simon Lever LLP named Andrew K. Hirschmann a partner. He was a principal with accounting and audit services and head of the audit and health care service teams. He has a BS in business administration accounting from Shippensburg University.

Philadelphia-based ParenteBeard named Jason Jacobs a partner with the insurance industry practice in the Lancaster office. Jacobs has more than 10 years of public accounting experience, focusing on the property and casualty and life insurance and reinsurance industries. He has a BS in business administration with a major in accounting from Bloomsburg University.

Architecture/ Engineering

Manor Township-based Rettew named Charles L. Myers director of energy services. He was assistant director of environmental engineering. He is a professional engineer with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering and engineering management from the University of Missouri.

Barton Associates Inc. of York named Todd P. Comly a construction service representative and HVAC designer with its State College office. He is an engineer-in-training and a former electrical contractor with 13 years of construction experience and a bachelor's degree in architectural engineering from Penn State University.

Manheim Township-based RLPS Architects named Eric J. Endres a partner. He was an associate. He is a registered architect and a graduate of Roger Williams University in Rhode Island. Daniel R. Godfrey Jr. was named an associate. He is a registered architect with an associate degree in applied science from Harrisburg Area Community College and bachelor in architecture degree from Drexel University.

Association

Lancaster County Business Group on Health elected Liz Ford chairwoman, Steve Ewing vice chairman, Kim Glick secretary and Doug Price treasurer. Ford is director of benefits and compensation with High Cos. Inc.; Ewing is a benefits manager with Herr Foods Inc.; Glick is a human resources manager with Brubacher Excavating Inc.; and Price is chief financial officer of Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster. Eric Athey, Vicki Doule and Chip Sernyak were named to the board. Athey is co-chairman of labor and employment with McNees, Wallace & Nurick LLC; Doule is a large group sales manager with Capital BlueCross; and Sernyak is employed with CoreSource Inc.

Banking/Finance

Millersburg-based Mid Penn Bank named Tara S. Latsha manager of its Elizabethville branch. She has more than eight years of financial services experience and was a branch manager for M&T Bank. She has a bachelor's degree in business management from Penn State University.

Chambersburg-based F&M Trust named Carol L. Morris an assistant loan servicing manager. She has more than 21 years of banking experience, most recently as a commercial loan operations supervisor with Orrstown Bank. Matthew R. Shank was named an assistant documentation review officer. He has four years of banking experience, an associate degree in business from Hagerstown Community College and a bachelor's degree in business administration from Frostburg State University.

Construction

Harrisburg-based Pyramid Construction Services Inc. named Joseph G. Sitcosky a project manager. He has 25 years of construction experience. Brian E. Kauffman, who has 23 years of experience, was named an estimator.

Government

Gov. Tom Corbett named John E. Stevens chairman of the State Civil Service Commission. Prior to retirement from the U.S. Army and the Pennsylvania National Guard, he was a major general with more than 36 years of service. He is an emeritus professor of management and marketing with Lehigh University and was director of the supply chain management master's degree program at Penn State University'sSmeal College of Business. He has a BS and MBA in industrial management from the University of Dayton and an MA in industrial relations and a doctorate in management from the University of Cincinnati.

East Pennsboro Township-based Holy Spirit Health System named Dr. Safwat Gassis a physician with Capital Cardiovascular Associates. He also will be medical director of Holy Spirit's atrial fibrillation center. He is a cardiologist specializing in treatment options for heart rhythm disorders.

Insurance

Derry Township-based KHB Insurance named Erin Grady general manager. She was a law clerk with the Dauphin County Court of Common Pleas. Andrew Enders and Jinene Enders Mahon were named insurance professionals. Enders was a Dauphin County deputy district attorney; Mahon was a commercial lines underwriter with the Cincinnati Insurance Cos.

Law

Susquehanna Township-based Angino & Rovner named Kristin N. Sinisi an associate. She will concentrate her practice on plaintiffs' appellate, evidentiary issues, "whistle blower," discrimination, employment and property rights areas. Sinisi graduated from Catholic University'sColumbus School of Law.

Technology

East Pennsboro Township-based IMR named Robert Chamberlain CEO. He was president. He is a graduate of Drexel University and Dickinson School of Law, and will focus on developing alliances and partnerships. Scott McCabe, who was chief operating officer, was named president. He is a graduate of Bloomsburg University and will manage day-today operations.
