Mercedes Benz SL65 AMG Named Most Expensive Car To Insure In 2011

New York, NY (PRWEB) April 4, 2011

Internet auto insurance quote comparison site 4AutoInsuranceQuote.org released their annual list of the most and least expensive cars to insure. A place where internet users can come to find cheap auto insurance quotes, 4AutoInsuranceQuote.org also features a library of extensive insurance related reports and research. This marks the third year in which they have reported on the most and least expensive automobiles to insure. Results from 2011, 4AutoInsuranceQuote.org says, are much different from those in previous years.

Luxury, high speed, and flashy cars remain at the top of the most expensive to insure list for 2011, while safe family cars are the least expensive. Topping the list for the most expensive cars to insure is the Mercedes Benz SL65 AMG. With a price of $186,000, 4AutoInsuranceQuote.org says, it's no surprise that this sleek sports car from Mercedes is also very expensive to insure. The least expensive car to insure is the Chrysler Town and Country LX. At a more modest price of just over $26,000, this car stresses safety, comfort, and spaciousness.

“While Mercedes seems to be one of the most expensive (cars to insure) every year,” owner James Shaffer says, “last year they weren't number one. That award belonged to the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution, a fast and small car that's dangerous to drive. The Chrysler Town and Country is also kind of a surprise to us (being the cheapest car to insure). Last year, it was the Volvo XC90.”

4AutoInsuranceQuote.org, in its short existence, has grown into one of the most visited car insurance web sites on the internet. 4AutoInsuranceQuote.org has been operating as an auto insurance company since 2008, but recently relaunched their website in early 2011. Since the new website's launch, they have already provided visitors with over 20,000 auto insurance quotes.

Owner James Shaffer says that he owes the success of the site to it's helpfulness in matching visitors with the best auto insurance option for themselves and their families. “With the economy the way it is, everybody is looking for a bargain. When users come to our site to get a price quote,” Mr. Shaffer says, “they are not only provided with options from a variety of vendors, they are also given a dedicated agent who will help them make the smartest purchase.”

4AutoInsuranceQuote.org is a standalone company which currently operates out of New York, NY. It aims to become a one stop destination for all things related to auto insurance.
