Jennifer Dowdell Armstrong (Cleveland) is a litigator with significant experience in the areas of complex commercial litigation and white collar criminal defense. She defends clients in federal criminal investigations and regulatory and enforcement matters. In addition, Armstrong frequently counsels companies concerning issues related to antitrust and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.

Selected for inclusion in Ohio Rising Stars (2014) by Super Lawyers, Armstrong serves on the Board of Trustees for the Northern District of Ohio Chapter of the Federal Bar Association and is a volunteer in the Legal Aid Society of Cleveland's Partners in Justice program. She is a frequent author and blogger on timely litigation topics. Armstrong was recently appointed to the Advisory Group to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. Earlier in her career, Armstrong served as a judicial law clerk for Chief Judge Solomon Oliver, Jr. in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.

Armstrong has a J.D. from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, summa cum laude, a Master's Degree in Nonprofit Organizations from Case Western Reserve University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Miami University.

Patrick A. Karbowski</person> (Detroit) is an accomplished real estate and business attorney with more than 25 years of experience practicing business and real estate law. His expertise covers a wide spectrum of complex real estate and business transactions and litigation involving real estate sales, acquisitions, development, title insurance, leasing, lending, property taxes, foreclosures, and workouts.

Karbowski is past chairperson of the Real Property Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan, which awarded him the C. Robert Wartell Distinguished Service Award.  A Leadership Oakland alumnus, Karbowski has served on the boards of several community organizations and is a frequent author and lecturer on real estate topics. He is recognized in Best Lawyers in America,Chambers USAand MichiganSuper Lawyers for Real Estate.

Karbowski received his J.D., cum laude, from the Wayne State University School of Law and earned a Bachelor of Science degree, cum laude, from Central Michigan University.
