Marsh Names Jonathan Zaffino as U.S. Global Risk Management Casualty Practice Leader

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Marsh, the world's leading insurance broker and risk advisor, today announced the appointment of Jonathan Zaffino as U.S. Global Risk Management (GRM) Casualty Practice Leader, responsible for oversight of Marsh’s GRM casualty operating model and the execution of its placement hubs.
Mr. Zaffino brings more than 15 years of experience in risk management casualty positions, including experience as an underwriter and broker. He joins Marsh from Century Atlantic Capital Management L.P., a Connecticut-based hedge fund he co-founded in 2008, where he was Chief Operating Officer.

Mr. Zaffino will be based in Marsh’s New York office and will report to Mr. Klisura. Mr. Zaffino previously led the casualty practices at Integro Insurance Brokers and Willis North America. He also held various leadership positions with ACE Excess Casualty and ACE Risk Management, including field operations, strategic development, and underwriting. He began his career as an underwriter at Reliance National Insurance and Chubb & Son.
Marsh’s global Casualty practice serves more than 10,000 clients, advising on more than 50,000 transactions each year and addressing integrated risk, captives, collateral alternatives, automobile liability, general liability, product liability, umbrella and excess liability, and workers’ compensation.
