LiveViewGPS Debuts New Live Trac Nav RTV20 GPS Tracking System
The RTV20 is a standalone GPS car tracking device which on its own will update its position every 5 or 10 seconds when moving over a couple miles per hour. With LiveViewGPS's easy-to-use web-based system, users can immediately see their vehicle's location, its current speed and direction of travel on a satellite hybrid map using any web-enabled computer, iPhone or Droid phone.
The Live Trac Nav RTV20 can be optionally programmed to work with a Garmin Nuvi navigation unit, which allows for two-way messaging between the office and drivers, turn-by-turn directions for the driver, and dispatching of drivers.
"The ability to dispatch drivers is one of the best features of this new fleet tracking system," said a LiveViewGPS representative. "Just type the address of where you would like to send your driver and the GPS navigation unit will store the address until your drivers are ready to proceed to that specific location."
Users can also choose to receive start/stop reports; vapor trail reports; vehicle mileage reports; reports of poor driving, including aggressive driving, speeding or excessive idling sent to any email address or cell phone via text message; instant alerts if a vehicle deviates from its route or designated area; ignition alerts and more.
GPS tracking systems can help businesses with company vehicles reduce fuel consumption, eliminate abuse of company time, increase productivity, increase driver safety, reduce theft and lower insurance premiums.
The Live Trac Nav RTV20 works throughout
