Life Insurance Direct Marketing Association Announces New Leadership

- LIDMA Announces New President and Roster of Officers and Directors –
ATLANTA, GA – March 28, 2012 - The Life Insurance Direct Marketing Association (LIDMA) has announced its new leadership team for 2012.
The new President of LIDMA is Andy Meehan, President of Southeastern Financial Group, LLC. He replaced Pat Wedeking, President of Quick Life, who had served at LIDMA’s President since the organization’s inception in 2006. Wedeking remains with the organization as Chairman of the Board.
Meehan has more than 20 years’ experience as a top producer and executive in the life insurance industry. In 2000, he acquired Southeastern Financial Group, LLC of Birmingham, AL. In 2006 Southeastern Financial Group became independent in 2006 to focus on developing unique processes to help people create and protect wealth.
Other officers for 2012 are:

“Our 2012 leadership team is made up of some of the top industry professionals from the life insurance industry,” said Meehan. “While positions and titles may have changed, each of our leadership team has been instrumental in the growth of LIDMA over the past several years and will continue to steer the direction of the direct response niche of the life insurance industry.”
LIDMA is the only association dedicated to supporting direct marketers, insurance companies, technology providers and exam companies active in the direct sale of life insurance products to consumers. LIDMA membership includes many of the industry’s leading producers, carriers, business partners, exam companies and direct marketers.
