Life Extension® Opens New Health Facility in Fort Lauderdale

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Sept. 6, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Life Extension, a pioneer in the latest anti-aging research and integrative health therapies, while offering superior quality, research-backed dietary supplements, today announced the September 10th grand opening of a new 11,000 square foot facility along with a week-long celebration of events for the public to occur September 9th–17th. The new facility includes a state-of-the-art vitamin and supplements retail store, blood lab, pharmacy, lecture hall and clinical research lab.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony with Mayor John P. "Jack" Seiler andCommissioner Bruce G. Roberts will kick off the unveiling to the Fort Lauderdale public, followed by the Life Extension Health Fair, a free consumer event from 10:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at 5990 N. Federal Highway. During the ribbon-cutting, The Pantry of Broward will receive a $2,000 product donation to assist with their mission of serving seniors on low fixed incomes throughout Broward County, South Florida.

Activities during the fair include free one-on-one consultations with health advisors; free health screenings including bone density, blood pressure and body fat analysis; health tests including blood testing and vascular testing; product demonstrations; a free weight loss lecture and facility tours. The first 500 attendees will receive a free gift bag that includes a free Life Extension membership and supplement samples valued at over $50. In addition, drawings will be held throughout the day for a variety of prizes, including gift baskets and a Life Extension gift card worth $100.
