Janney Adds Senior Analyst Sameer Gokhale, Deepens Financial Sector Equity Research

PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Janney Capital Markets today announced the hiring of Sameer Gokhale as Managing Director in Equity Research. Mr. Gokhale is a leading analyst of Specialty Financial companies and an important addition to Janney’s Financials vertical, working from the Firm’s Midtown, New York office.

Mr. Gokhale was previously associated with Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, as well as Bear, Stearns & Co. His prior coverage has included American Express, CIT Group, Encore Capital Group, Inc, SLM Corporation, CapitalSource, Inc., Textainer Group Holdings Limited, Asset Acceptance Capital Corp., Compucredit Holdings Corp and Asta Funding, Inc. Also in 2011, he earned the top spot in consumer finance by Zacks Investment Research. Earning his undergraduate degree from Trinity College, Mr. Gokhale completed his MBA from Cornell University.
