Insurance Agents Adopt Applied Systems Epic® in Record Numbers

University Park, Ill. (PRWEB) January 17, 2012

Insurance agents are adopting Applied Systems Epic® faster than any agency management software in the history of Applied Systems, the insurance software company reports. In the three years since its debut, the innovative Epic system has been adopted by more than 12,000 individual daily users in more than 400 agencies.

Applied Systems reports that Epic is used by two of the top five global insurance brokers. Agency principals say that Epic enhances the value of their businesses and provides a competitive advantage in the insurance marketplace through its scalable software architecture and unique capabilities.

Thomas J. Heist Insurance of Ocean City, N.J., recently became the 400th agency to choose Epic as its new agency management system. Heist moved to Epic after 20 years on a system from another agency management software provider.

“We needed to be agile enough to be able to reallocate work and shift responsibilities as needed to keep pace with our increased sales goals,” said Thomas H. Heist IV, agency president. “Epic allows us to focus on what differentiates our business, adds value and helps us build relationships. Most important, we believe Epic enables us to save steps and save time so our employees become less processors and more caretakers of our customers’ assets. Our customers look to us as advisers, and they trust us to help protect what’s most precious to them.”

“Epic delivers capabilities that no other agency management software can,” said Applied Systems CEO Reid French. “The market’s rapid adoption validates Epic’s ability to deliver competitive advantages in the dynamic insurance arena. As an industry leader in insurance software for 30 years, Applied Systems has set a new benchmark with Epic for the business value an agency management system can deliver.”

Applied Systems says Epic is easy-to-use agency management software built on an innovative and scalable architecture that works as effectively for many thousands of users as it does for just a few. The company says Epic’s user experience, based on agency workflow best practices, is the most modern and intuitive in today’s marketplace.

Applied Systems, Inc. develops, sells and supports insurance agency and broker management software and provides services for all agent and broker functions. More than 135,000 users in 11,000 agencies of every size and complexity level use Applied Systems solutions built around TAM®, Epic®, Vision®, and DORIS™ insurance agency and broker software. In addition, Applied Systems is recognized as a pioneer in advancing carrier communication with agents and brokers. The company continues its longstanding work to promote download and real-time technology. Applied Systems is the parent company of Artizan Internet Services, creator of CSR24®, certTrax®, WebEngine2.0® and InsWorld®. http://www.appliedsystems.com,http://www.artizan.com.
