Information for Arizona Fire Victims and Evacuees — Health Net of Arizona helping to provide access to essential prescriptions and coping services during and after Arizona wildfires

PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Health Net of Arizona, Inc. is helping ensure that Health Net members who are victims and evacuees of wildfires have access to essential prescription medications, critical Health Net information and services to help them cope with grief, loss, stress or trauma.

“We’re concerned for our members in the affected regions, and we want them to know we’re taking steps to help them, especially if they’ve had to evacuate and need access to important medications,” said Bret Morris, president of Health Net of Arizona.

Prescription Medication and I.D. cards

Health Net of Arizona is making exceptions to immediately allow for early refills on prescriptions for insured members who have been affected by the fires.

Members who need prescriptions filled or a new I.D. card should contact their Customer Service support at 800.289.2818.

Coping Assistance

Any Health Net of Arizona member affected by the wildfires may contact Managed Health Network, Inc. (MHN), Health Net’s behavioral health subsidiary, for referrals to mental health counselors, local resources or telephonic consultations to help them cope with stress, grief, loss or other trauma resulting from the fires.

Health Net of Arizona members may contact MHN 24 hours a day, seven days a week at 800.227.1060.

Information for Contracting Health Care Providers

Health Net is taking steps to help ensure that health care providers in the areas of the fires are able to continue providing for Health Net members’ medical needs.

If your office has questions about prescription refill guidelines, length of time to obtain authorizations for treatment, or approval for out-of-network services if a contracting facility becomes unavailable, please contact 800.289.2818.
