IRMI Launches Online Curriculum for the Agribusiness and Farm Insurance Specialist (AFIS) Certification and Continuing Education Program

Launched in 1989, the AFIS certification is the industry's only professional credential for those who serve the farm and agribusiness communities. Nearly 1,900 people have earned the AFIS certification, and another 1,400 are in the process of completing its requirements.
IRMI has enhanced the online AFIS program with video instruction from farm and agribusiness insurance experts, and streamlined the curriculum into five online courses:
* AFIS 1--Farm Property
* AFIS 2--Farm Liability
* AFIS 3--Farm Auto, Workers Comp, Umbrella
* AFIS 4--Special Farm Property Insurance Lines
Equipment Breakdown, Inland Marine, Crop, and Livestock Mortality
* AFIS 5--Miscellaneous Farm Insurance Lines
Ag Pollution, Management Liability, and Crime
