Valen Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of predictive analytics solutions to the insurance industry, announced the IAT Insurance Group (IAT), a multi-line insurance group consisting of eight companies and gross premiums written in excess of $600 million, has selected Valen's UnderRight ® predictive analytics underwriting solution to improve pricing strategies, risk selection and ultimate profitability on their commercial auto line of business.
IAT selected Valen's UnderRight solution in large part due to the solution's best of breed predictive modeling, availability of expansive external data through Valen's Xdata® data warehouse, a wealth of historical underwriting and claims data through the ValenNetworksTM consortium data warehouse, and Valen's pre-built model delivery solution. IAT considers Valen's solution as a clear differentiator.
IAT is a major insurer of commercial auto business through various insurance entities. Valen's UnderRight solution will play a key role in maximizing the profitability of the company's existing business, and will provide IAT with powerful predictive analytics and a sophisticated model to make the most informed decisions as it expands this important core line of business.
