Hylant Group Adds Corporate Health and Wellness Specialist to Employee Benefits Practice
TOLEDO, Ohio, April 21/PRNewswire/ -- Hylant Group, one of the largest privately owned insurance brokerage firms in the nation, has hired Jackie Iwanski as Manager of Health and Wellness Strategies. She will develop a series of interactive health and wellness programs, establish a detailed resource library and provide employers with methods for mitigating risk by promoting healthier lifestyles throughout their workforce. In this role, she will be responsible for managing a team of regional wellness coordinators and building impactful Health Risk Management (HRM) strategies for Hylant's clients.
Iwanski earned her bachelor's in exercise physiology along with her master's in health education from Kent State University. Her career included Wellness Program Coordinator at The Alpha Group Agency, Wellness Program Manager at Moen and Exercise Specialist at both Westfield Insurance Co. and Progressive Insurance Co. Since 2001, she has taught a wide variety of health and wellness classes at Lorain County Community College and Kent State University.
Hylant's Employee Benefits Practice focuses on healthcare planning, consumerism, contribution and health-management strategies. Iwanski will serve as a liaison to Hylant's offices in five states.
