Huawei USG9580 Firewall Completes Testing by NSS Labs

SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- RSA - Huawei, a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider, today announced at RSA 2014 that its USG9580firewall security platform has successfully completed independent third-party testing and evaluation by NSS Labs, Inc. Huawei's USG9500 series passed various tests and satisfied all requirements contained within the NSS Labs "Firewall Testing Methodology".

The NSS Labs firewall testing methodology encompasses a wide battery of tests designed to objectively evaluate security effectiveness, performance, stability, reliability, manageability, and total cost of ownership (TCO).

The Huawei USG9580 is the flagship platform from Huawei's Unified Security Gateway 9500 series of high-end data center firewall products.
