Hernando County business digest [St. Petersburg Times, Fla.]

Winn-Dixie is in the process of remodeling its Hernando County stores.

The store at 11092 Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill, was recently completed, and A Taste of Winn-Dixie event was held on July 9 to showcase the improvements.

The remodeling of the store on Broad Street in Brooksville should be complete later this summer.

Oak Hill Hospital, 11375 Cortez Blvd., Spring Hill, has again earned the designation of accredited chest pain center from the Society of Chest Pain Centers. Oak Hill was the first hospital in Hernando and Citrus counties to receive the initial accreditation.

This accreditation is the highest level the society awards and was given after an intense review of the interventional cardiology services provided at Oak Hill.

Dr. Kelvin W. Gorrell, a board-certified anesthesiologist and diplomat in anti-aging medicine, has relocated his practice to Village Square Plaza, 5119 Commercial Way, Spring Hill.

Events

The Greater Hernando County Chamber of Commerce will offer a two-day workshop, "Maximizing Your Time," from 8 a.m. to noon Tuesday and July 27 at the chamber's training room, 15588 Aviation Loop Drive, south of Brooksville.

Participants will gain practical tips to help assess their time-management effectiveness and create a personal plan for improving their skills in key areas. Each participant will receive his or her own personalized "time mastery profile."

The workshop will be conducted by Lori Bainum, a corporate trainer specializing in communication, team building, leadership and motivational speaking.The course is open to the public. The cost is $99 for chamber members and $129 for nonmembers. A certificate of completion will be awarded to those participants who compete both days of the workshop.
