Heritage Union Life Insurance Company Announces SalaryShield Challenge
Company Promises: If We Can’t Get You Covered Today, We’ll Buy You Dinner
RICHMOND, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Heritage Union Life Insurance Company, the leader in income protection products, announced today the start of the SalaryShield Challenge.
Eligible consumers who apply for SalaryShield life insurance coverage online or over the phone who are not covered the same day will receive a $25 Restaurant.com Gift Certificate, compliments of Heritage Union Life.
“We constantly challenge ourselves to find new and better ways of doing things,” said Phil Walker, chief executive of Heritage Union Life. “Our goal is to eliminate the hassle of applying for life insurance. Because our customers' time is valuable, if we can't take care of things in a few minutes, it seems only fair that we'd compensate folks for their time.”
The SalaryShield Challenge applies to the company’s SalaryShield Elite, SalaryShield Online and SalaryShield Silver life insurance products. Participants also must be 18-70 years old and reside in the United States (excluding Hawaii, Massachusetts, Montana, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Maine, Rhode Island, Vermont and Washington) to be eligible. For more details, visit www.salaryshieldchallenge.com.
“Not only do we have great products designed to protect the income your family relies on, but we also have the ability to offer consumers a fully underwritten price without the hassle of the usual fully underwritten underwriting process,” Walker said. “Many applicants can be approved for coverage in two minutes.”
The SalaryShield Challenge is scheduled to run through September 15, 2010.
