Mar 02, 2010 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- Hannover Life Reassurance Company of America has appointed David Wheat as executive vice president and CFO.
In his most recent position, Mr David served as the CFO of ING Americas, leading finance and risk activities across the US, Canada and Latin America. Prior to joining ING Americas, he was a partner in the Ernst & Young Insurance Practice.
With Hannover Life Reassurance Company of America (Hannover Life Re), Mr David will head the finance, corporate actuarial, treasury, risk management, and controller functions. He will be based in the company's Orlando, Florida office.
Pete Schaefer, president and CEO of Hannover Life Re, said: "We are excited to have David join the Hannover Life Re team. His knowledge and experience will greatly enhance our ability to fulfill our mission by adding value for our customers and the Hannover Re group."
